“Gary!” Georgia screamed.

 

Leif sneered angrily at Gary now. Georgia knew she had to do something to save him but her fear overtook her. She had to do something, she couldn’t just stand there and not try…she’d offer herself in exchange for Gary. She immediately pleaded with Leif to spare her husband again.

 

 

“Please! Don’t hurt him. If you want money, we have money…I will get some for you, just please don’t hurt my husband…I’ll do anything you want….Please! What is it that you want from us? Whatever it is…I can get it for you…just stop this, please! I’ll do anything.”

 

Leif raised an eyebrow at Georgia as she spoke then looked at Gary.

 

“Money? Is she serious? She is pleading for your life. Do you hear her?” Leif heckled as Gary struggled on, grunting loudly and swung hard at Leif’s face. Though he missed, Leif instantly became angered, released his head briefly allowing Gary to fall to the floor. Gary turned toward Georgia and crawled as Leif took slow steps behind him.

 

Georgia ran to Gary and dropped to her knees to help him stand, but Leif promptly squeezed Gary’s throat causing him to wheeze loudly as Georgia struck Leif’s hand desperately. “No! Stop! You’ll kill him!”

 

She cried as Leif scoffed.

 

“That’s the general idea my love.”
